Buffalo Soldier: A salute to black cavalry soldiers, the sculpture by Jimmie Bemont is titled "Buffalo Soldier: The Errand of Corporal Ross". It was based on a painting by Bob Snead of El Paso (in which the galloping soldier is being chased by Indians as he fires back at them).

Days of Valor: A sculpture by local artist, Jimmie Bemont held at Veterans Memorial Park in northeast El Paso.
