The decoration is either dichroic glass or glass murrini for a beautiful file. These come in Small 3.5", Medium 5.5", and Large 7.5" with a black protective case. The nail files are made of glass and can break, if you drop one, you might have two partial nail files that will last a lifetime. We did drop one and the case broke, but the file was fine.
