Elissa placed the bluebonnets around the outside of this large piece.
This piece was created out of hundreds of cut pieces placed on top of each other to create a beautiful flowing pattern in the colors chosen by the owner. This piece had to be built in the kiln, as moving it after it was created was not possible.
Here are the two door pieces cut and cleaned ready for the firing.

The 18" circle for a window, at the time, it was the largest circle I had cut. There was only 1 sheet of glass available, so I had one shot at it. I held my breath and made the cut, It turned out great.
