Reactions in Glass

Do you like movie special effects? Then you’ll love Bullseye glass reactions!

Reactions occur when, once fused, specific glasses touch one another, creating “special effects” in your artwork. Learn what combinations of glasses get reactions (and which do not), how to emphasize or limit reactions, and what accessory glass to use to get stunning reactive effects.

Join Laurie Rich, one of our talented advanced tutors to learn about chemical reactions in glass. This will be a two-session class. Part 1 you will make over two dozen sample tiles in a range of reactive colors - as a useful future reference point for reactive projects.

In Part 2 you will use this knowledge to create two pieces; a round bowl using a 10" circle or a 8" x 8", or 12" x 4", or 10' x 6" platter.
